Latest Update: Get a compact sedan for the price of a sub-4m sedan. Skoda has launched a new, limited-run, more affordable variant of the Rapid, called the Rapid Rider in Indian Market. The Rapid Rider falls in the same price bracket as mid-spec variants of sub-4m sedans like the Maruti Dzire and the Honda Amaze. In Nepal Market it expected to cost NPR3600000 onward .
The Skoda Rapid is available in three variants – Active, Ambition and Style in Nepal – which are priced from Rs 38.45 lakh to Rs 57.95 lakh (On road price in Nepal). Skoda is also offering a limited-run of Rapid called the Rider (Launched in Indian Market).
Skoda Rapid Engines:
The Rapid can be had with a 1.5-liter TDI diesel and a 1.6-liter MPI petrol engine. The diesel motor produces 110PS/250Nm while the petrol engine churns out 105PS/153Nm. Both the engines can be had with a 5-speed MT or a dual-clutch automatic. While the petrol gets a 6-speed auto ‘box, the diesel comes with a 7-speed DSG.
Skoda Rapid Features:
The Rapid is available with dual front airbags and ABS with EBD as standard. The top-spec variant is equipped side airbags as well. The automatic variants of the Rapid come with electronic stability control (diesel only) and hill hold control.
